RING
By Albert Paul
CURSOR, 1, no. 4 (April/May 1980): 31.

Many thanks to Albert Paul of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada for the following
program. Note: to make the ring sticker or thinner, change the value of "N"
(line 2). To make the ring larger or smaller, change the value of "M" (line
20). "M" must always be larger than "N."

Archive Notes:

The BALLY BASIC and "AstroBASIC" versions of RING were typed in from the CURSOR
newsletter using various program archiving tools such as PRG2TXT, TXT2PRG and
KCS.

The alternate version of RING has been altered with the suggestions made in
CURSOR to allow the thickness and size of the ring to be changed.

The alternate version of RING was archived from a tape in the Richard Houser
Collection:

Ring by Albert Paul (raw, 300 baud).wav

The reverse of this tape has a BALLY BASIC, 300-baud version of MASTERMIND by
Carol Burkemper, but that could not be digitally archived. There are also some
2000-baud programs on both sides of the tape, but these programs seem
incomplete, and are FAR too long for "AstroBASIC" programs.
